Click here to enlarge Report Description: The Striped Marlin were biting on a 220 degree heading out of Mag bay outside the 100 fathom curve from Mag bay to Santa Maria this report from a boat tagging marlin for research there the week of 12/10/01. Reports indicated the new sonic eels from sevenstrand seemed to attract the strikes from the marlin. Not a lot of research was done on the lures themselves as there were other issues at hand during the tagging process. Report indicated the fish were not in abundance but doubles were common. Good luck if you get out there!
