New Realfoot Lake boat

This boat is a wooden hand crafted work of art. A pirogue designed to run over obstacles in shallow water. It is more stable than a Jon boat. The boat is 17 1/2 feet long. It has an inboard Honda motor. It will go for 3 or more days on one gallon of gas. The hull is made of cypress overlaid with fiberglass. Boats of this design have been in operation for over 50 years with very little maintenance. It includes trailer, battery and Forward Facing Oars. When rowed, you face the direction the boat is propelled. It has a shallow draft (6 inches). It will carry a lot of weight and cuts the water like a canoe. It will go up stream in navigable river ways and is easy to fish from in any lake. It will go where many boats cannot. Three seats are included. The boat is NEW, the trailer is NEW and the engine is NEW. It was hand made on the shores of Reelfoot Lake by craftsmen that have been making these boats since the 1811 New Madrid Earthquake created that lake. It is a reinforced Pirogue with an inboard motor. The flat bottom gives excellent stability while the bow and stern cut through the water like a canoe.
